Biography

Xie Rui holds a PhD in Translation Studies from Beijing Foreign Studies University.

Her research interests include cognitive processes in interpreting, digital translation studies (computer-assisted interpreting/translation, translation and prompt engineering), corpus-based interpreting studies, quantitative linguistics, and interpreting ethics. She is also a reviewer for Target.

She holds CATTI Level 1 Certificates both in Interpreting and Translation and has provided interpreting and translation services for organizations such as UNESCO, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture, and Tencent.
