About Us

Founded in September 2021, the Division of Civic Education at CUHK (SZ) serves to provide the civic education courses for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, including theoretical courses, serial lectures, public talks and social practice etc. Undertaking the task of cultivating virtue and adhering to the university motto of " Through learning and temperance to virtue博文约礼" and the Whole-person education, all faculty members aim at enhancing the course-related theories and practice and promoting innovation. Through combining teaching, research and practice, as well as integrating the high-quality educational resources from HK and mainland, we aim at guiding the students to become fully developed citizens with great ideals and good sense of morality and the rule of law, helping them to understand the world, life, morality, and the rule of law. It will inspire students to care about the society, the country, and China’s political developments so that they can become responsible citizens who care about the future of China and the Chinese people.
