I am Lyu Yuan, a PhD student at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). Prior to pursuing a PhD in Global Studies, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics from the South China University of Technology, a master’s degree in social sciences from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and worked as a part-time research assistant at the Center for Market Economy Research at Peking University. My current research interests are in international political economy, especially on the impact of global macro environment on the economic behavior of households and individuals.
