Biography

I gained a bachelor's degree in Sociology, ranked first in GPA in the second year of study, graduated in the top 5% of the major, and awarded a Bachelor of Laws degree. Ranked first in overall academic performance across the university, I was awarded a scholarship by the China Scholarship Council to study abroad for one academic year at Providence University in Taiwan, where I produced a research paper on Taiwan's ecological agriculture. In my junior year, I received an admission scholarship for the Translation/Interpretation Summer Camp at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and was recommended for postgraduate study in Simultaneous Interpreting. Since my third year of undergraduate study, I have provided simultaneous and consecutive interpreting for dozens of large-scale conferences, covering fields such as politics, economics, culture, and health. These events include the Xuzhou Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Shenzhen) Investment Promotion Conference, the International Symposium on Modernization of Government Services and Governance, the Binhai Bay Bridge Expert Scheme Review Conference, the China Cultural and Creative Industry Conference, among others. I was formerly a certified English teacher at a public middle school in Shenzhen and worked as a chairman assistant and head of the language center for a listed company. I also served as the business assistant and simultaneous interpreter for the actual controller of Kibing Group, a listed company, providing simultaneous interpreting services for Kibing Group's new photovoltaic glass project in Sabah, Malaysia.
