Call for Abstracts
The Undergraduate Research Conference at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen serves as a vital platform for undergraduate students to share their original, intellectual, and creative contributions across multiple disciplines. The U-core course – ENG2001 English for Academic Purposes provides all students with valuable opportunities to engage in research activities, which enrich their understanding of methodology and develop their proficiency in presenting research outcomes both in writing and verbally. This conference is an opportunity for students to showcase their research achievements, gain recognition, and engage in scholarly discussions. By participating in this event, students can further develop research expertise, expand their professional connections, and contribute to the growth of knowledge within their respective areas.
In an era marked by the rapid rise of artificial intelligence (AI), critical thinking skills, the ability to formulate and address insightful research questions, and the skill to effectively present research ideas are more crucial than ever in navigating the complexities of the AI-driven world.
The Undergraduate Research Conference at CUHK-Shenzhen envisions empowering undergraduates to be at the forefront of knowledge creation and dissemination by upholding the values of excellence and innovation, collaboration, and respect for diversity. Our goal is to actively foster and support mentored research experiences for all undergraduate students, enriching and enhancing their academic pursuits.
We warmly invite all CUHK-Shenzhen undergraduate students to be part of this enriching event and share their research with the academic community by presenting one of the following at this conference:
1)Research papers written for ENG2001 (non-language students),
2)Research papers for courses offered in HSS (language students), or
3)Research paper for an individual/URA project that is understandable to a general audience.
