Founded in 2014, the School of Humanities and Social Science (hereinafter referred to as HSS) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen is an exceptional and collaborative community of faculty, students, and alumni dedicated to improving lives and expanding opportunities through the comprehensive study and effective practice of humanities and social science. HSS now offers five bachelor programmes, six master programmes, and five MPhil-PhD programmes. In addition to major-related courses, HSS provides university core courses for undergraduate students in multiple areas, including General Education, English, Chinese, Physical Education and Information Technology, so as to lay a solid foundation for holistic education.
